Meera’s career is a tapestry woven across very different industries, stages, and experiences, from human rights law to enterprise technology to entrepreneurship, and now leadership development. Though the fabric changes with each chapter, the common thread has always been the same: understanding the people she serves, building trusted relationships and creating genuine and tangible impact. Each chapter has added a new perspective; together, they have shaped how she thinks about helping people and organizations thrive.
Prior to joining The Leadership Edge, Meera’s career as a human rights attorney developed a foundation in advocacy, complex problem-solving, persuasive communication, and understanding the human stories behind complex issues, especially in her work at the United Nations in The Hague.
Her experience in enterprise sales culminated in managing strategic relationships and a multimillion-dollar book of business. She learned that the strongest commercial relationships are built on client advocacy, trust, curiosity, and creating value. Meera’s active involvement in an early-stage mental health start-up has also given her a founder’s perspective on ambiguity, resourcefulness, and the importance of leadership development.
Meera is best known by her clients for her positive energy, her tenacious ability to problem-solve creatively, and for her empathetic communication style.
