KEY GIGS:
Scientist turned biotech executive turned leadership coach, Rachel dove headfirst into the world of biotechnology after her UCSF postdoctoral fellowship, working her way from the lab bench to the corporate boardroom.
Rachel grew up as an R&D leader at Genentech, advancing from individual contributor project manager to group head and project team leader for drug development programs. She was then recruited to be the Vice President of Portfolio Strategy and Alliance Management, at MyoKardia (acquired by BMS).
In 2021, Rachel pivoted her career, using her life sciences experience and technical and business expertise to establish a unique “scientific leadership” coaching practice dedicated to helping talented scientific professionals thrive.
Her executive leadership coaching has guided both C-suite executives and emerging scientific leaders, helping them to develop new leadership mindsets and habits that enhance both personal and organizational performance.
