Leaders have a huge impact on that which is why I have dedicated the last 20 years to helping leaders develop the capabilities necessary to create engaged workplaces.

KEY GIGS:

  • Rich began his career as a mechanical engineer responsible for optimizing the efficiency of large industrial energy systems. But after he started leading teams, he became more interested in how to optimize the efficiency of people working together.

  • In 2005, he joined the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) where, as Senior Faculty, he worked with CEOs to front-line leaders from Fortune 50 global corporations to small non-profits. This experience combined with CCL’s world-class research-based leadership development methodology, helped him understand what it takes to develop leaders who actually lead versus simply occupy a leadership position.

  • In 2017, he joined CCL’s Coaching Practice Leadership Team where he co-led the design and delivery of Better Conversations Every Day and Better Conversations & Coaching. This experience taught him the value of conversation and how simple shifts in behavior can have huge impact on helping us work more effectively together.

  • Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation
